Only 30% of Earth's surface is ground. That means your satellite is only within view of the ground, and ground terminals, for a fraction each orbit. Our relay service expands your connectivity time to when over the ocean or otherwise out of view of ground terminals. More access time means more data.

2. A Data Firehose In LEO With You

Our proximity to your spacecraft in LEO allows us to capture more of your data. Our use of laser downlinks means no matter how much data you send to us, we can get it all back down to the ground.

3. Versatile Radio Compatibility 

Easy to try, easy to use. Our use of software defined radios means you can transmit using your existing radio and antenna if you fall within our covered frequencies. You do not need any proprietary hardware from us, although we are happy to help you choose your communications hardware.

Timeline

Satellite launching in May 2018. Service begins in July and will last for approximately 6 months.

Orbit

Demo satellite will be deployed in an ISS orbit - approximately 400 km at 51.64 degree inclination.

Frequency Range

For the demo, we are able to receive from 700 MHz to 6 GHz, a subset of our eventual range. High-gain receive from 2-2.8 GHz.
